Kids Can Make Semlor!

Let us help your kids learn new skills and build their confidence in the kitchen! Students will learn how to make Swedish Semlor–a yummy treat eaten on “Fat Tuesday” and in days leading up to Easter. We’ll bake the fresh cardamom buns and fill them with an almond paste filling and fresh whipped cream. Then we’ll top the whole thing with plenty of powdered sugar!

Students will even get to learn a little bit about Swedish Easter traditions as we wait for our dough to rise, and maybe a little vocabulary too. ūüėČ Of course, they’ll get the recipe to take home so they can make more for the family.

We recommend that students be at least 8 years old and mature enough to handle themselves in a kitchen. **Allergens: almonds, wheat, dairy.
